Australian computer game industry is progressing through the pioneers like Andrew Health and Chris Mosely, and the bright futures of their company Blue Tongue Software, which is having the highest deal of 2.5 million dollars with Vivendi Universal games, are discussed. According to Terry Cutler, the chairman of Co-operation Research Center (CRC) multiplayer games from Australia have the potential to dominant the world market, which could further change the Australian economy.

There are predictions that Melbourne can lose the economic benefits of handling trade worth $68 billion, which it had handled in 2003 and the Victorian Government is urged to set aside funding in the 2004 budget.
