St George Bank purchased Sealcorp Holdings in a $272 million deal in 1997. Sealcorp's Asgard Master Trust placed under St George Bank management following the acquisition helps the bank diversify its business. Sealcorp is not expected to develop a positive shareholder value in the near future. St George Bank expects to generate a positive rate of return of its investment in Sealcorp.
