Business Efficiency Fair 1983

Article Abstract:

The Business Efficiency Fair (BEF '83) will be held at the World Trade Centre in Melbourne August 9 to August 12. The Exhibitors section of the article includes names and addresses of companies with brief descriptions of products displayed. Business Aids Pty Ltd will show the Ideal Cutpress 6104, which combines shredding at .35 meters per second with baling, and the Plockmatic 10 collator with ten separately programmed stations. The $4000 Systype II from Systype Australia Pty Ltd., which converts an electronic typewriter into a word processor, and the NBI system 3000 word processing system from Remington Office Machines will be displayed. Photographs of the Trade Centre and products are included.

Report: Business Efficiency Fair Melbourne 1983

Article Abstract:

The 1983 Business Efficiency Fair was held in Melbourne, Australia. Among the products exhibited were the Minolta EP450Z copier with zoom lens, Canon's X-7 Personal Computer with graphics capability, and Hanimex's FUJI microfilm reader- printer. Of interest was the Interactive System-3M Videodata broadband cable which supports distributed data networks, multi- channel switched networks, facsimile, and security systems.

Business Efficiency Fair to Be Biggest Yet

Article Abstract:

The Business Efficiency Fair, to be held in Sydney, Australia in March 1984, expects exhibits from over 100 companies. The latest in business equipment as well as furniture and accessories will be on display. The Fair and other exhibitions in Australia are now administered by George Christie, appointed director by the new National Business Efficiency Fair Committee.
