Comparing Six Charting Packages for Agriculture

Article Abstract:

Commodity price charts are important for futures traders, farmers and agribusiness managers. Charts are a helpful tool for them, but they are tedious to prepare. For that reason, several computer software companies have put together databases that together with updating, will produce a price chart quickly. This will allow the user more time to analyze the charts. Six charting packages have been reviewed: Ag-Disk Market Charting, ChartMaster, Chart Trader Plus, Market Analyst, Market Window, and Smart Chart. Each charting package is reviewed in eight areas. This is the second in a series on investment software.

Article Abstract:

According to Gilman C. Gunn, investors should sell Eurobonds and buy United States Treasury bonds. Gunn is a money manager for Kuwait International Investment Co. Actually, most owners of Eurobonds are institutions, rather than individual investors. When there is little difference in yield between Treasuries and Eurobonds, then it does make sense to buy the former.
