The client's perspective

Article Abstract:

Client/server imaging technology was the solution to Texas Instruments Inc.'s problems on time and budget with its Accounts Receivable Project. It was implemented by a project management team, which consisted of people in various information systems roles and who have significant experience with technology projects. A client's perspective is presented and discussed.

Conducting facilitated workshops: empowering the user to develop quality systems faster

Article Abstract:

Facilitated workshops allow systems designers to gather information needed to identify the requirements of a new system. This results to the reduction of time and costs spent on the systems development process. Workshops also empowers users to make system decisions on all aspects of the project and to develop creative techniques for implementing these decisions.
