Developing measures of time-based manufacturing

Article Abstract:

A research framework was developed designed to enhance time-based manufacturing. The framework offers a foundation for research involving time-based manufacturing through its set of seven instruments, which are built for assessing key practices. It emphasizes the importance of involving shop-floor employees in solving corporate problems since they have considerable experience in dealing with manufacturing processes.
