Dow Jones's president will retire

Article Abstract:

President and COO Kenneth L. Burenga retires from Dow Jones & Co. effective the end of the year. At present the plan is to reorganize the executive level without replacing Burenga with another president. At least one board member and family member thinks that would be a radical departure. For now, Peter R. Kann is chairman. Jerome H. Bailey, CFO, was named executive v.p. along with Peter G. Skinner, the company's general counsel. Also in positions of top management will be the heads of print publishing, electronic publishing, and the community newspaper divisions.
