ESOP's appeal on the increase: employee stock ownership plans are back - and stimulating productivity

Article Abstract:

In 1977, 20 years after the first ESOP was created, the idea began to catch on and various laws were passed to spell out its terms. Don Way of Thoits Insurance Service was a program pioneer. Over time he not only noticed company tax breaks, but also increased productivity from the employees.
