Many firms in the electrical equipment industry continue to post strong financial performance despite the cyclical nature of this sector. The Asian economic crisis is the latest challenge to the industry, but many companies are weathering the crisis reasonably well. Overall, the industry is ranked low for timeliness, but some stocks are good picks for portfolio diversification.
