Electronics industry

Article Abstract:

Good sales and earnings are being recorded in the electronics industry in 1995. Specialty manufacturers, connector manufacturers, and electronic distributors are the three largest segments of this industry. Communication component makers and manufacturers of security systems comprise the smaller segments. Many stocks are highly ranked for timeliness, but few pay large dividends, and are growth, rather than income, investments.

Electronics industry

Article Abstract:

New applications for electronic systems and increased demand are the two basic trends benefitting the electronics industry in 1995. Electronic equipment for automobiles is an example of where these trends are merging. There may be some consolidation of distributors in the future, but hostile takeovers are not likely. These stocks have a favorable timeliness rating, and AMP Inc is an excellent pick for yield and earnings.
