The $55 CD-ROM 'Escher Interactive' commendably presents 600 images of the graphic artist's work and a half-hour narrated story of his life. However, it lacks useful analyses of his motivation, since he never achieved monetary success, or of his compositional technique, as well as a bibliography.

Good heavens: a tour of space, courtesy of the Hubble telescope

Article Abstract:

The $29.95 'Hubble Space Telescope CD-ROM Archive has some excellent space pictures but accessing these pictures is cumbersome. The pictures include those taken after the Shoemaker-Levy 9 comet hit Jupiter and various nebulae in the galaxy. The set is a good base for future efforts.
