Fax abuse

Article Abstract:

Excessive use of facsimile machines wastes supplies and company money. A fax policy or a list of documents that can be faxed should be defined and employee misuse of the overly-convenient machine should be discouraged. Excessive intra-office fax machine utilization could also be a sign of deficiencies in the office electronic mailing system. A proper re-evaluation of the e-mail system should then be undertaken.
