Slump pinches postproduction companies

Article Abstract:

As the Sep. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and the slowdown in the US economy impact advertising agencies, the companies used by ad agencies to aid in the making of TV ads are also impacted. Some of the companies economically hurt include sound shops, animation studios, visual-effect studios and editing facilities.

Foote Cone loses two accounts from Coke in wake of Pepsi suit

Article Abstract:

Foote Cone Belding loses accounts to Coke due to a restraining order put out by PepsiCo. The order prevents four of Foote Cone Belding's employees from working on a campaign for Dasani bottled water. The account is now being handled by Berlin Cameron & Partners.

U.S. marketers, seeking to maximize the value of every dollar spent in the current recession, are calling on Intermedia Advertising Group to help them measure the impact of their TV commercials. IAG gathers data from TV viewers, having panelists watch a specific show, then log on to a Web site and answer questions that include questions about particular commercials.
