Foreign telecommunications industry

Article Abstract:

The rapid transfer of the foreign telecommunications industry to high tech products and services is likely to have a beneficial impact on the industry as a whole and expectations for the industry are high. Technological advances and deregulation are positive trends for the industry, also, and many companies are joining forces, as well. Most companies in this industry have benefited from recent events and these stocks are timely for investors for 1999 and for the next three to five years.
