Gender stereotypes and service quality in customer-waitperson encounters

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to examine the effects of service quality conditions and gender stereotypes on perceived service quality in fine dining restaurants. Findings show that in favorable service quality conditions, customers perceive service quality derived from a female server to be better than her male counterpart's.

Multidimensional quality assessment of multimedia telecommunications systems for enhancing customer satisfaction

Article Abstract:

The relationship between the quality factors of teleconferencing systems and subjective human perceptions of the system performance is investigated. The degree of voice delay, frame rate per second and display resolution, which are the three quality factors, are considered.
