Article Abstract:

The Microsoft Encarta World English Dictionary is the multimedia CD-ROM version of a print edition released in July. Users can look up individual entries or search by catagories, such as Dictionary, Thesaurus, Almanac, Quotations, Computer Dictionary, Sounds, and Images. The software will play an audio clip as a pronunciation aid or to elucidate a musical reference. The reviewer lists several omissions and concludes that he work as a whole, while nicely conceived, seems rushed to market.

Article Abstract:

The direct impact of representation of women on top management teams (TMTs) on organizational performance and also the moderating effects of environmental characteristics on the TMT women-performance linkage are examined. The results show that the role played by top women managers transcends the demands of the environment and has implications for the career development of women.
