Global quality management: a research focus

Article Abstract:

Global Quality Management extends the concepts behind Total Quality Management and has evolved into an area of practice that has to be defined and researched. Quality management has grown from a basic statistical and engineering concept into one that covers broad organizational concerns. Quality concepts must be developed to reflect the nature of global corporations and markets.

Linking objectives to actions: a decision support approach based on cause-effect linkages

A three-stage action planning process is presented to help the managers to streamline the relevant information and generate a range of options before making any decisions.
