Success criteria and success factors for external technology transfer projects

Article Abstract:

The factors involved in external technology transfer are weighed with the criteria for project success with the purpose of developing recommendations to further effectivity of management practices. The elements inherent in technology transfer project success are involvement by the acceptor, team approach and commitment, management involvement and support and ongoing process control. Overall performance, recipient satisfaction and smoothness of the transfer process are the indications of the project's success.

Article Abstract:

The balancing method allows for a more systematic way of attaining and evaluating project management objectives. Thus, a company which undertakes a number of projects simultaneously will find the method useful. Furthermore, the method provides indeces which inform the company its expected output and realistic project schedules. When applied properly, the method also eliminates the balancing problem through the use of fast algorithm.
