Integrating knowledge through information trading: examining the relationship between boundary spanning communication and individual performance

Article Abstract:

Data from Europe's largest information technology (IT) services and management consulting company provided evidence that organizations should support boundary spanning knowledge sourcing from both internal and external sources. The results suggested a positive relationship between boundary spanning communication and creativity and general performance, and a negative relationship between reliance on colocated coworkers as knowledge sources and creativity.

A model of the antecedents of perceived ease of use: development and test

Article Abstract:

The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was used to analyze how perceived ease of use is related with computer self-efficacy. Three experiments were conducted which revealed that computer self-efficacy is a determinant of perceived ease of use either before or after hands-on use. However, objective usability becomes a determinant of ease of use only after direct use of the system.
