Australian accountants Horwath have been sued following the Max Green tax and embezzlement scandal in 1998. Plaintiffs received more than 22 million Australian dollars in damages. The impact of the case on Horwath's finances is examined.

Bob Bott's busy retirement

Bob Bott started a joint venture with Lowe Lippman when he retired in 1989 forming the insurance broker Lowe Lippman Bott whose turnover in 1999-2000 reached A$26 million. He is now considering stockmarket listing.
