Make your move

Article Abstract:

Nonprofit organizations or economic development agencies provide services to companies which need to relocate or start business in new areas. Experts from these organizations can arrange contracts with local utilities and facilitate the processing of government requirements. They also offer rental or leasing services at low cost and can promote the business in community schools. Agencies offer these services for free while hoping that the new business will improve the local area's financial conditions.

Master the move

Article Abstract:

Advice on how to conduct business relocations as smoothly as possible is presented. Careful thought should be given to responsiblities to be given to the office manager, who may not have the necessary experience for relocating offices. The same should be done when hiring architects, engineers and contractors to help in the relocation. Financial incentives in the form of construction allowances from landlords may not be enough to cover relocation costs, so this should be anticipated in relocation plans.
