A senior writer accepted an intensive one-day 'operational executive platform' with a fictitious company, Global Solutions, as a new vice president, Kelly Myers, from Richard Wellins, a senior vice president, human resources consulting firm, who would evaluate her work and analyze her performance. The assessment process made her more aware of her strengths and weaknesses and felt with lot of practice and therapy, she could still be Kelly Myers.

The company is spending $2.1 million developing a product called athenaClinicals, an electronic service that will be implemented in 2006 to track and measure everything from diagnosis to medical transcription to lab results.
