NBC Entertainment chief says network will tone down shows' sexual content

Article Abstract:

NBC has decided to ease up on the comedy shows with sexual tension and bring a little balance into programming such as a two-parent family show might do. Big advertisers are asking for more traditional values and NBC will try it. Being broad in its offerings will make it difficult to compete with cable networks that can plan programming that will appeal to their niche audiences. But viewership is dropping anyway, so a change is worth a shot.
