Navigating in turbulent environmental conditions for sustainable business excellence

Article Abstract:

An organization to achieve its key strategic objectives in both a stable and a turbulent environment in different periods need to develop a sustainable business excellence (SBE). This requires a capability to operate on a dual management mode, which could accommodate both the familiar success criteria that lead to conventional business excellence (CBE) for stable conditions, and the criteria of resilience and competitive landscape fitness for periods of environmental turbulence.

Helping the Kiwi to fly: Creating world-class organizations in New Zealand through a benchmarking initiative

Article Abstract:

The New Zealand Benchmarking Club consisting of 18 organizations are striving to achieve an ambitious vision of 'World-class performance by members and wide spread adoption of excellent business practices within New Zealand. The first three years of Clubs operations reveals that the Club is on track to fulfill its vision as members improve their self-assessment scores by approximately 50 points per year.
