Northern Exposure: Alyeska Pipeline is held liable in tour-operator case

Article Abstract:

In 1991 John Reeves had the word of Keith Burke who was affiliated with the oil companies consortium called Alyeska that Reeves' tourist idea could be implemented. The idea was a visitors' center and gift shop, written up with landscaping and pathways included. But Alyeska proceeded to do their own pipeline/visitor spot without Reeves, but using many of Reeves' ideas. Alyeska plans to appeal the $15.3 million award handed down by a Fairbanks Superior Court jury.
