Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam, the owners of Razor and Tie Music, met in law school, shared an interest in 1970s popular music, and finally started a record company. The company, which has only 16 employees, is thriving, despite a lack of entrepreneurial experience by Chenfeld and Balsam.
