On the edge of market gains

Article Abstract:

Small companies have an advantage over larger ones if they tackle the problem of correcting software now so that the year 2000 change will not create transaction glitches. Angus Foodworks, a Melbourne supermarket operator, has made the transition and is even developing an Internet site that will allow customers to order deliveries. The needed adjustment for the year 2000 provides an excellent opportunity for small businesses to enhance accounting and office software programs at the same time.
