Organizational effectiveness model for quality management systems in the Australian construction industry

The experiences and perceptions of Australian construction firms in using quality management systems such as ISO-9000 are discussed. Inconsistent outcomes were revealed in Australian companies as a result of ISO 9000-based quality management systems.

Critical factors affecting quality performance in construction projects

The low performance of Indian construction projects and the key attributes that influence the quality performance of these projects are analyzed. Top management support and the project manager's competence are the two most significant factors.
