A portfolio management system

Article Abstract:

The four phases of portfolio management system are solicitation, selection, prioritization and registration. One guideline for project solicitation states that people who will write the document should know the process that will be implemented, how to use an appeal process in case the project will not be approved and the required layout. On the other hand, project selection is done by a review of various projects by decision-makers while project prioritization is done by reviewing the scoring. Registration is the assigning of a Project ID No. to a certain project.

Alternatives to downsizing

Article Abstract:

Several alternatives to downsizing that either provide short-term expense reduction or address long-term staffing needs were suggested since downsizing has been seen as a bad choice for organizations considering that it is a matter of corporate decision making. One strategy is basing employee recruitment on visions to ensure that persons who can meet future challenges are the ones hired.
