Recreation industry

Article Abstract:

Reduced consumer spending, higher unemployment, and the slower US economy have had an adverse effect on the recreation industry, especially for retailers. This is expected to continue in the 2001 holiday season, and for the cruise and toy sectors of the industry. These stocks are risky for investors in late 2001.
