Relationships between operational practices and performance among early adopters of green supply chain management practices in Chinese manufacturing enterprises

Article Abstract:

China's foray into the World Trade Organization (WTO) possibly leads its organizations to develop growth efficiency worldwide. Green supply chain management (GSCM) is evolving as a significant method for Chinese organizations to develop efficient functioning on economic and environmental fronts. The experimental results regarding the correlation between GSCM practice and environmental and economic performance are presented.

Build-to-order and just-in-time as predictors of applied supply chain knowledge and market performance

Article Abstract:

The details on the research of the effects of Build-to-order (BTO) and just-in-time (JIT) strategies on market performance and applied supply chain knowledge in United States are discussed. The result shows that BTO strategy affects the market performance with its influence on applied supply chain knowledge, and JIT strategies affect applied supply chain knowledge, but not the market performance.

The operational efficiency of 44 U.S. airports is examined. Parameters such as service operations, productivity and logistics are investigated by means of data envelopment analysis (DEA).
