Revision shows faster growth in GDP
Article Abstract:
The gross domestic product rose at a 2.4% yearly rate in the 1st qtr of 1992, an increase from the 2% forecast in Apr 1992. The Council of Economic Advisors Chmn Michael Boskin stated the statistics indicated a pattern of economic growth since the beginning of 1992.

'92 productivity gain hit 20-year high
Article Abstract:
The Dept of Labor reported that labor productivity for workers in non-farm sectors increased by 2.7% in 1992. This represented the largest increase during a calendar year since 1972. Other economic statistics are presented.

June new-home sales rise

The Dept of Commerce and the Dept of Housing and Urban Development report that sales of new homes increased 7.9% in Jun 1992. Sales of existing homes declined 2.9%.
