Sales and operations planning part I: the process

The findings of the AMR Research reported that the use of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by companies simultaneously can meet customer demands at the highest levels, maintain reduced inventories and in minimizing supply chain operating costs. Success factors of S&OP process in business forecasting and in improving and sustaining operational performance are examined.
