Article Abstract:

A profile of Qualcomm, Inc., a company developing and marketing communications devices and services based on code-division multiple access is presented. Analysis of stock prices of the company is done based on the information as of June 10, 2005. Strong competition from WCDMA chipset is likely to hinder future market share of the company. However, the company is likely to reap the benefits because of its long-term royalty streams.
