Sen. Pryor sets 1996 retirement

Article Abstract:

Democratic Sen Pryor said that he will retire in 1996 and not seek a fourth term. He is the fifth Democrat in the Senate to make this move after the Republicans swept congressional elections in 1994. His retirement enhanced the fear by Democrats of losing more seats in Congress.
