Soft drink industry

Article Abstract:

Growth in the soft drink industry slowed in 1999 in both the domestic and international markets, but international sales are expected to increase. Coca Cola Co of Atlanta, GA, has had low earnings in 1998 and 1999, and top officers of the company have changed, also. Earnings shortfalls at Pepsi and Coke have made these stocks untimely for the year 2000, but long-term prospects are excellent.
