The US domestic soft drink industry continues to improve in the year 2001, and prospects for international sales are bright, also. The acquisition of Gatorade by PepsiCo Inc is significant for the industry, as well. These stocks are timely for late 2001 and have good three to five year prospects.

The soft drink industry is expected to do better in the year 2001 with increased sales over the year 2000. International sales are also picking up, and consolidation within the industry is also continuing. These stocks are now above-average in timeliness with excellent prospects for the future.
