Spreading the word as the clock keeps ticking

Article Abstract:

The Australian Federal Government's year2K Industry Program is organizing a series of advertisements and forums for state-based utilities and national services as a means to stop rumors over business disclosure requirements concerning Year 2000 readiness and to provide a state of the nation positioning for vital services. The seminars are being targeted to larger businesses, but the government hopes that smaller businesses, or those lagging in compliance, will heed the message of the advertisements.
