Bob and Cindy Maynard founded Country Walkers in Waterbury, VT, in 1990 to market walking tours in the US and abroad. The firm has grown to annual sales of $2.8 million and has seven full-time office employees. The Maynards plan to stabilize their business at 2,400-2,500 customers per year.
