Timothy McVeigh was arrested in connection with the Apr 19, 1995, bombing of a federal building in Oklahoma City, OK, on Apr 21, 1995. McVeigh was being held on an unrelated charges when officers realized he fit the description of one of the suspects. Political reaction and other suspects are discussed.

Arizona Amtrak crash blamed on sabotage; antigovernment notes found at scene

Article Abstract:

The derailment of an Amtrak train Oct 9, 1995, near Hyder, AZ, was caused by sabotage when bolts were removed from a connecting bar. One person was killed in the crash and 100 more were injured. Letters found near the scene were addressed to various government agencies.

Nichols was charged with participating in the Oklahoma City bombing on May 10, 1995. He was accused of having contacts with Timothy McVeigh, the other accused suspect, of buying and storing bomb materials, and of encouraging and helping McVeigh commit the bombing.
