Truck makers, following consumer preferences, have designed 1998 trucks that are roomier, have increased power and less maintenance time. Light-duty, light-duty, medium-and heavy duty trucks are briefly described. Overall prices remain steady. Pickup sales are slightly down, while SUVs grew.

Trucks for '93

Prices for 1993 trucks are expected to increase between 2.5% and 5% compared to 1992 prices, but the new trucks tend to be safer and more fuel-efficient than previous models. New light, medium and heavy-duty trucks are described.
