The Continuity-Change Duality in Narrative Texts of Organizational Identity

Article Abstract:

The article examines the context, content, and authorial elements of an organizational narrative of transformation, using that composed by senior managers of a Canadian bank as an illustration. It is posited that multiple interpretations, readings, and re-writings render organizational identity indeterminate.
