The alphabet of Six Sigma quality

Article Abstract:

Many businesses are using Sigma Six, which is a four-step process for achieving and maintaining the highest possible quality in a business product or process. The Motorola Inc. method measures how many defects or failures per million opportunities are likely to occur in a product or business method. Measurement involves counting defects or time required. Analysis determines performance objectives. Improvement asks managers to think beyond old goals and methods. Control is monitoring for continued high quality.
