Markets are populated by individuals and institutions that have neither perfect neither knowledge nor perfect foresight. If markets are not in equilibrium and are growing in size and complexity then the prices are in a constant state of flux as well as there is an opportunity to profit from trade.

Article Abstract:

The surveys conducted reveal that if the migration is eliminated in Australia then the population will be only 19 million by 2050. Australia's population will decline without migration, as the fertility rate is low in Australia creating difficulty to achieve growth in gross domestic product.
