The impact of board composition and top management team ownership structure on post-IPO performance in young entrepreneurial firms

Article Abstract:

The study examined the role and composition of members of the board of a company that had gone public on its performance. Results showed that a board that comprised of original top management teams (TMT) had enhanced capitalist visions to take the company to greater heights.

The impact of acquisitions on the productivity of inventors at semiconductor firms: a synthesis of knowledge-based and incentive-based perspectives

Article Abstract:

A study examined the relation between knowledge-based and incentive-based outlook in explaining the impact of acquisitions on the productivity of inventors at acquired semiconductor firms. Results showed a definite relation between the two perspectives.

The importance of resources in the internationalization of professional service firms: The good, the bad, and the ugly

Large law firms with home office in the United States were studied to examine the internationalization of professional services firms. Positive effect was observed on internationalization in general human and relational capital.
