The natural environment: does it count?

Article Abstract:

The natural environment is usually excluded from most stakeholder models as organizations do not realize the impact that business has on environment and vice versa. Treating environment as a stakeholder involves three problems-conceptual, ethical and market. These problems are discussed and possible solutions are presented.

A study examining the factors affecting the ethics of a company is presented. The study was conducted in the wake of recent scandals like Enron, WoldCom, Tyco etc.
