U.S.P.S. offers PBS The Business Channel Training to all 800,000 employees

PBS The Business Channel entered an omnibus program agreement with the United States Postal Service (USPS). In their contract, it's program line-up for 12 months will be made available to the USPS employees by downlinking these programs through the Postal Satellite Training Network. With this, USPS employees and executives will have he opportunity to choose from 1,200 hours of satellite-delivered programs and live seminars such as 'How To' workplace skills programs and executive education courses and James Belasco's 'Soaring with the Phoenix,

Aussie project management

Article Abstract:

Several infrastructure and management projects are underway in Sydney, Australia in preparation for the Olympic Games on Sept 2000. The Australian government through the Olympic Coordination Authority handles any infrastructure construction project. The Sydney Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) is in charge of constructing new sports facilities as well as remodeling of existing sports arenas. The objectives of the project include an ecologically sustainable infrastructure that will host a trouble-free year 2000 Olympic Games.
