A review of the Australian economy is presented. Unemployment for adult workers is at 6.7% in 1999 compared to over 11% in 1991 and the Gross Domestic Product has risen from 0.34% in 1991 to 4.3% in 1999. Statistics for the gross domestic product by industry are included.
