Getting objective about quality

Article Abstract:

Manufacturers often rely on technological innovations and new production methods in improving the quality of their products. However, customers and personnel are more important in quality control because customer complaints and feedback can inform manufacturers on whether their products meet quality standards. New manufacturing equipment is worthless unless employees and supervisors know how to use it. Steps on how manufacturers can create quality improvement programs that include customer and employee involvement are discussed.
