Osage, IA, businesses and residents have voluntarily adopted methods to reduce their energy costs by $1 million annually. Small businesses seeking to reduce their energy costs must calculate the pay-back period, the time over which energy savings offset capital expenditures.

Federal lab law may raise medical costs

Article Abstract:

The Clinical Laboratories Improvement Amendments of 1988 may fail to improve the quality of work performed by medical laboratories, and the law could actually increase the cost of medical tests, further limiting access to them.
